CELINE DION CONCERT IN BUCHAREST IS RESCHEDULED, TICKETS REMAIN VALID
Bucharest, 6th May 2021 – The CELINE DION concert, which was scheduled to take place on the 29th of July 2020 at National Arena Bucharest and initially rescheduled on the 25th of July 2021, will be postponed in the context of COVID-19. The event is going to be rescheduled on the 11th of June 2023. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the current status of restrictions on mass gatherings, it is with deep regret that Celine Dion has had to again reschedule the dates of her European “Courage World Tour”. Celine and Concerts West/AEG Presents consider the safety and health of patrons as a top priority and some of the originally scheduled 2020 show dates of the second leg of the tour, that were postponed for 2021 across Europe due to COVID-19, have been rescheduled for 2023. The shows planned in Tel Aviv, Nicosia, Attard, Athens, Bucharest, Carhaix, Lucca and Nyon this summer will now play May-July, 2023. The Bucharest show will be rescheduled for 11th of June 2023.
Celine said: "I was really looking forward to seeing all of you in Europe this summer, but unfortunately because of the situation in our world things just keep getting pushed back. But please don’t despair, we feel really good about doing the shows in 2023 and I can’t wait to finally see you. 2023 here we come!”
Tickets already purchased for Celine Dion’s concert on the 29th of July 2020 which was initially rescheduled for the 25th of July 2021 remain valid and can be used for access on the 11th of June 2023. All rights granted by the access ticket remain valid and participants will comply to the promoter’s TERMS & CONDITIONS, ticketing seller’s policy and to local laws and regulations.
“We are very sorry to have to reschedule the Celine Dion concert once again, but we feel very happy that Bucharest is among the cities which will still be able to host the show. Clearly this was not a course of action we had hoped to take, but abiding by the current government measures – and in times of such unprecedented uncertainty – this is now our only viable option, which we had to accept with a heavy heart.
We would like to show our appreciation to all Celine Dion’s fans for their patience and to reward them with a unique raffle which we hope will ease the wait. As you might imagine, all this is as unpleasant for us as, no doubt, it is for the fans and in this light we kindly ask you to give us a bit of time to work out the details of the raffle, vouchers and other issues that come with this second postponement. Thank you so much for your understanding and we'll get back to you within the shortest possible time.” - Laura Coroianu, Director of Emagic, promoter of the Bucharest show.
More details regarding the June 11th show will follow shortly.
