Information on Accessibility at eventim.ro
The accessibility of digital services is a central priority for us. We want all people, regardless of their individual abilities, to be able to use our website under equal conditions. This document describes how we implement the requirements of digital accessibility legislation and the measures taken to make our services accessible.
Description of Our Service
We, Eventim.ro SRL (hereinafter referred to as EVENTIM), provide information about artists, events, and venues on our website eventim.ro. Through our website, you can purchase tickets for events, as well as related products and services such as merchandise items.
The services available on the website are generally provided by third parties – in particular, event organizers. EVENTIM provides sales and delivery services and acts as an intermediary or provider for these third parties. EVENTIM always informs users about the respective organizer for each event.
The purchasing process works similarly to an online shop: you select the desired product, specify additional details (e.g. event, date, ticket category, etc.), and add your selection to the shopping cart. You then follow the checkout steps to complete your order. During this process, you may be asked to provide your delivery address and select a payment method. After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
How We Ensure Accessibility
According to digital accessibility legislation, we are required to ensure the accessibility of our electronic services. This means that elements such as text, images, and website functions must be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Our website includes a number of features designed to support accessibility. The website is:
a) Perceivable
To make content easier to perceive, we have implemented the following measures:
- Text is high contrast and can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Content can be viewed in any screen orientation.
- Images contain alternative text (“alt text”) unless they are purely decorative.
- Information conveyed through design – such as headings, lists, or tables – is readable by screen readers and organized logically.
b) Operable
The website is designed for ease of use:
- Navigation is possible using the keyboard.
- We avoid elements that may cause visual or physical discomfort, such as flashing or blinking effects.
c) Understandable
The website is designed for clarity and simplicity:
- Assistive technologies can recognize the language of the page.
- Input errors are automatically detected and clearly indicated in text form.
d) Robust
Our website is compatible with major assistive technologies and can be used, among others, with:
- Microsoft Edge + Microsoft Narrator (Windows)
- Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox + NVDA (Windows)
- Safari + Apple VoiceOver (macOS, iOS, iPadOS)
- Google Chrome + TalkBack (Android)
We continuously update the platform to meet new requirements and technologies, ensuring compliance with legal accessibility standards.
Accessibility of Services Provided by Third Parties
EVENTIM has no control over how event organizers or other third parties provide the services purchased through our platform. Therefore, EVENTIM cannot guarantee that these services are fully accessible. On-site accessibility – such as wheelchair spaces, accessible entrances, or support services – may vary depending on the event, venue, and date.
Information provided by organizers regarding accessibility for persons with disabilities can be found directly on the event page, where details about accessible seating, companion tickets, or other special services are available when applicable.
Third-Party Services
In certain cases, we use third-party services (for example, through integration). Where we are responsible for their implementation, we ensure that they can be used in an accessible manner. In other cases, the same principles regarding accessibility of third-party services, as mentioned above, apply.
Responsible Market Surveillance Authority
The competent authority for verifying compliance with accessibility requirements is:
National Authority for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Children and Adoptions (ANDPDCA)
Department for Digital Accessibility Implementation
