Edward Christopher Sheeran is an English singer, songwriter, and producer born on February 17, 1991, in Halifax, West Yorkshire. He grew up in Framlingham, Suffolk, showing an early interest in music by singing in a church choir and learning guitar. He started his career in 2004 and gained wide popularity in 2011 with the EP No.5 Collaborations Project. His debut album + (2011) included hits like The A Team and Lego House. He continued his success with albums x (2014), ÷ (2017), No.6 Collaborations Project (2019), = (2021), and − (2023). His latest album Autumn Variations was released in 2023. Sheeran is known for emotional ballads and blending various music genres. The single Shape of You is one of the most streamed on Spotify.
