Gatuzo is a Zagreb-based rock duo (Damir Trkulja Šiljo – guitar and vocals, Goran Martinjak – drums), founded in 2004. They call their music style explosive rock which is characterised with rawness, originality and a subconscious addiction to blues. In the end of 2005, they record and release their first studio material (“Temelji”).
In November 2007 they released the album “Noge/ruke/glave” for which they received the Status award in 2007 by HGU for the best young rock band, and a Porin award for the best alternative rock album of 2007.
Towards the end of 2009, Gatuzo released their second album under the title “!” which received positive critique by known critics. The third album with the symbolic title “Gdje idemo?” (Where are we going?) was released on 12th of December 2013 and shortly received praise as being their most mature and best work yet.
Today, the energetic duo has hundreds of concerts behind them, including ones on famous festivals.
