Union Olimpija is the most renowned Slovenian basketball club. It was founded in 1964 within the framework of the student society Svoboda. It is the most successful basketball collective in Slovenia. In its rich history, they won several domestic as well as international titles. Their greatest achievement was winning the European cup in Lausanne in 1994 and playing in the final four of the Euro League in Rome in 1997 where they achieved third place.
Several outstanding players left their mark on the club: Goran Dragić, Rašo Nesterović, Marko Milić, Beno Udrih, Primož Brezec, Boštjan Nachbar and others.
KK Union Olimpija moved its residency from the legendary Tivoli Hall, in which most of Slovenian basketball history was written, to the beautiful new sports hall ŠRC Stožice in 2010/2011. We cordially invite you to see the matches in season 2015/2016.
