Majke

Majke are a Vinkovci-based rock band that was active from 1988 until 2000 and then regrouped again in 2007.

The year 1996 was marked by a general popularisation of the band Majke and them growing into a nation-wide rock phenomenon, regardless of the fact they broke up shortly in 1995.

In 1997, Majke celebrated their ten-year long activity on the Croatian rock’n’roll scene and held a big independent concert in Dom Sportova in front of several thousand people.

In February 2007, the official return of Majke was confirmed. On 9th of March, they held a magnificent concert in Tvornica kulture in Zagreb.
