Michel Reis, pianist and composer from Luxembourg, is regarded as one of the most refined voices in contemporary European jazz. Praised by Downbeat Magazine as an “extraordinary pianist”, he captivates audiences with his lyricism, sensitivity, and unique expressiveness. In December 2024, he made his Romanian debut with the acclaimed Reis Demuth Wiltgen Trio, performing two sold-out concerts in Bucharest and Cluj – establishing the group as perhaps Luxembourg’s finest jazz export. A year later, Michel Reis returns to Romania to present his universe of solo piano compositions – his most prolific and intimate domain, documented across five solo albums.
