Biography - NINA PUŠLAR

Nina Pušlar (born October 25, 1988, in Ivančna Gorica, Slovenia) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter. She rose to fame after winning the Bitke talentov competition in 2005 and released her self-titled debut album, Nina Pušlar, in 2006. In 2010, she took part in the Slovenian National Selection for Eurovision (EMA 2010) with the song “Dež”, finishing second in the final. Following the contest, she released her second studio album, Slečeno srce. In EMA 2011, Nina competed again with “Bilo lepo bi”, but did not qualify for the final. Later, she released her third album, Med vrsticami, which further established her as one of Slovenia’s leading pop artists. In 2012, she entered the Slovenska popevka 2012 festival with the song “Kdo še verjame”, again achieving second place. Her fourth album, Nekje vmes (2013), showcased her artistic maturity and signature sound, blending emotional lyrics with melodic pop influences.
