Simply Red can pride themselves on a storybook career, not only because they released their debut album “Picture Book” in 1985. But because the band, owing their name both to their love of their town of Manchester and Manchester United as well as their red haired soul singer Mick Huckenhall, has achieved pretty much everything you can achieve in pop music. Their soul songs are considered a “household name” which you would expect after more than 30 UK Top 40 hits and well over 50 million albums sold worldwide.
Now the British band is making a comeback and is going on a world tour next year!
