Seit Jahren ist diese Veranstaltung ein absoluter Höhepunkt der Ballsaison. Im umfangreichen Veranstaltungskalender der Landeshauptstadt ist er der größte und glanzvollste Ball mit Prominenz aus Wirtschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft.
Viele Highlights
Die Eröffnung des Balls übernimmt traditionell die Tiroler Jugend mit der Polonaise (20.30 Uhr) geleitet von Waltraud und Dipl.-Vw. Ferry Polai. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Mitternachtseinlage mit der Tanzcompany des Tiroler Landestheaters unter der Leitung und mit Choreographien von Enrique Gasa Valga.
In der Dogana sorgen das Pepe Lienhard Orchester und die Harmonies für Top-Livemusik. Im Saal Tirol spielt die Band iXACT, im Kristallfoyer sorgen die Crazy Cats für ein Revival der größten Hits der 50er bis 70er-Jahre. DJ George Dee mischt in der Orangerie die tanzbaren Swing Sounds der 20er Jahre mit aktuellen Hits und All Time Classics zur Balldisco des Jahres. Für den Live-Effekt sorgt Paul Heis.
