XLOV (엑스러브) is a rising K-pop group formed by four members – Wumuti, Rui, Hyun, and Haru – under South Korean agency 257 Entertainment. The group officially debuted on January 7, 2025, with the single “I’mma Be,” marking the beginning of a concept-driven artistic journey focused on identity, emotion, and self-expression.
The name XLOV combines the letter “X,” symbolizing the unknown or negation, with “lov” (an intentionally incomplete form of “love”), representing an evolving and undefined form of love.
Prior to their debut, the members gained recognition through survival shows such as Boys Planet and Build Up, building an international fanbase early on. Group leader Wumuti, in particular, brings extensive experience from previous activities in the Chinese music industry.
Following their debut, XLOV released their second single album “I One” (2025), followed by their first mini album “Uxlxve,” which explores themes of transforming negative emotions into positive energy. Their sound blends pop, electronic, and urban influences, paired with a distinctive visual identity.
With a fresh and authentic approach to K-pop, XLOV is quickly establishing itself as one of the most promising new-generation groups.
