Full lineup revealed for Electric Castle 2026: The Cure, twenty one pilots, Teddy Swims and dozens of other names ready to make waves at the castle
It’s here and it looks spectacular: Electric Castle unveils the full lineup for the upcoming edition taking place between July 16–19 at the Bánffy Castle domain in Bonțida. Headlined by superstars The Cure, twenty one pilots and Teddy Swims, and complemented by rock sensations Wet Leg, Nothing But Thieves and LP, alongside an eclectic hip-hop selection featuring Kneecap and Yung Lean & Bladee, as well as top electronic acts such as Mochakk, Chase & Status and Subtronics, the lineup blends established names with avant-garde artists redefining genres. All of this comes with a touch of Hollywood glamour, thanks to the presence of Keanu Reeves with Dogstar at Bonțida.
The presence of The Cure and twenty one pilots has already thrilled the Electric Castle community — and for good reason: it’s a privilege to experience, live, in a single festival edition, two bands already cemented in music history and beloved by millions of fans worldwide. The excitement reaches new heights with the confirmation of Teddy Swims, making his debut both at the festival and in Romania. It’s impossible to ignore the global success of “Lose Control”, the hit that propelled him to soul-pop stardom. Swims will bring to the main stage the raw power and emotional intensity of his hits “Bad Dreams”, “The Door” and “Hammer to the Heart”.
Three names that define what the main stage of EC’s 12th edition will look like: Wet Leg, LP and Nothing But Thieves. From a viral single in 2021 to two Grammy Awards in 2023, Wet Leg have quickly become one of the most awarded acts in British indie. Live, they deliver hits like “Chaise Longue”, “Wet Dream” and “Ur Mum” in a style that blends post-punk energy, feminist attitude and festival-ready euphoria. They are joined by LP (Laura Pergolizzi), the unmistakable voice from New York, songwriter behind tracks for Rihanna and Christina Aguilera before “Lost on You” became a European phenomenon. Completing the lineup of major live acts is Nothing But Thieves, a band with chart-topping albums, billions of streams and concerts that resonate deeply.
EC 2026 also brings three of the most provocative names on the European scene: Yung Lean and Bladee, the Swedish visionaries who turned Scandinavian cloud rap into a global cult phenomenon, as well as Kneecap, the explosive hip-hop trio from Belfast that reinvented political and cultural discourse through a mix of Irish language, rebellion and adrenaline. Also with Irish roots but in a completely different musical direction, Maverick Sabre is set to deliver a show spanning his entire discography, including the gold-certified “Lonely Are the Brave”.
Carefully curated to cover all electronic music genres, the lineup includes Mochakk, the rising tech-house sensation, Chase & Status, the “veterans” of the drum & bass scene with hits like “Blind Faith” and “End Credits” (over 10 million copies sold), as well as Subtronics, Kölsch and Deep Dish, the Grammy-winning duo returning after two decades to the progressive house stage.
It goes without saying that no rock fan — or Matrix fan — will want to miss Dogstar, the band founded and led by Keanu Reeves. Dogstar brings new material to the festival, proving their comeback is far more than just a nostalgic moment. Plus, all of Keanu’s charisma, of course.
For those eager to start planning their must-see shows, artists like Balu Brigada, House of Protection, Just Mustard, Sleaford Mods, Omul la lună, HVNDS and Celelalte Cuvinte offer a complete journey through rock — from post-punk and indie to electronic rock. Meanwhile, Nastia, Sullivan King, Mind Enterprises, Egyptian Lover, Quantic and Layla Benitez are just a few of the 200 artists shaping this year’s Electric Castle lineup.
